When staying at Kreischberg Suites, you automatically receive the Murau GästeCard. This card gives you free access to a large number of attractions, swimming pools, and cable cars in the Murau-Kreischberg region throughout your entire stay, at no extra cost.

What is the Murau GästeCard?

Who issues the card?
The Murau GästeCard is issued by the Murau-Kreischberg region. Participating accommodations, including Kreischberg Suites, provide the card to guests staying there. You do not need to pay or request anything extra: the card is ready for you at check-in.

When is the card valid?
The Murau GästeCard is valid from May 1 to early November. The exact end date varies slightly each year. In 2026, this is November 2. Stays outside this period do not entitle you to the card.

How do you use the card?

Reception upon check-in
You will receive the Murau GästeCard upon arrival at Kreischberg Suites. The card is personal and valid for the entire duration of your stay. Simply show the card at the entrance of participating attractions; that is all you need to do.

Is the Murau GästeCard still valid in the autumn?

Yes. The Murau GästeCard is valid until early November. In September and October, all benefits are active: free swimming pools, cable cars, and access to more than 25 attractions in the Murau-Kreischberg region.

Is the Murau GästeCard also valid in April?

No. The Murau GästeCard is valid from May 1st to early November. The card is not yet active in April. Stays from May 1st automatically grant access to all the benefits of the card.

What is the Murau GästeCard and what do you get for free?

The Murau GästeCard gives guests free access to more than 25 attractions and activities in the region, including swimming pools in Murau, St. Georgen, St. Lorenzen, St. Lambrecht, and St. Peter, regional cable cars (Kreischberg, Lachtal, Grebenzen), and museums. Do I need to apply for or pay for the Murau GästeCard separately?

No. You will automatically receive the Murau GästeCard upon check-in at Kreischberg Suites (at both Apartment A and Apartment B), without having to request or pay anything for it. The card is personal and valid for the entire duration of your stay.

Is the card also valid outside the summer period?

The Murau GästeCard is valid from May 1 to early November, this includes spring, summer, and autumn. The card is not valid outside this period.

Where exactly can I see which attractions are participating?

Upon check-in, you will receive the complete, up-to-date partner list of the Murau GästeCard. Well-known examples include the swimming pools in the region, the cable cars of Kreischberg, Lachtal, and Grebenzen, and various museums.
