What is a Bockbieranstich?
At an “Anstich,” the first keg of a new beer is ceremoniously tapped. Murauer Bockbier is a seasonal beer that the brewery itself describes as strong, full-flavored, and very drinkable, brewed with carefully selected raw materials from Austria. The fact that the Bockbieranstich has existed for 56 years speaks volumes about how beloved it is in the region.
