Bloom and silence (April \u2013 June)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

April, May, and June are the months when Kreischberg reveals its quietest, most beautiful side. The mountain meadows are in bloom, and rare orchids and lime-loving plants, which you never encounter on the plains, grow along the Scharfes Eck. The hiking trails are empty, the air is clear, and daytime temperatures range between 12 and 18\u00b0C, ideal for those who want to be active without breaking a sweat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From May 1st, the Murau G\u00e4steCard is active, giving you free access to swimming pools, cable cars, and dozens of other attractions in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes spring in Kreischberg special<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Along the route to the Scharfes Eck, rare wild orchids and lime-loving mountain plants grow in May and June, a phenomenon you do not encounter on the plains. It is one of the concrete reasons why spring is a distinct season in Kreischberg, not just 'for the summer season'.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Low crowds, high experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In April and May, the hiking trails are virtually empty. You have the routes to yourself, the parking lots are unoccupied, and there is no rush. That is a different kind of holiday than the summer.

During the day, temperatures range between 12 and 18\u00b0C, ideal for brisk walks without overheating. It cools down in the evening. Always bring an extra layer, even in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Murau is worth a visit at any time of year. In spring, it is quiet, the terraces have just opened, and the brewery offers tours. It is a 10-minute drive from the apartments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Graz<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Weather and temperatures in spring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

April: 6\u201313\u00b0C during the day, night temperatures close to freezing at altitude. Good walking weather with appropriate clothing. Higher routes may still be covered in snow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May: 10\u201318\u00b0C during the day, pleasant. Most bloom. Ideal walking season begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June: 14\u201322\u00b0C. Warmer, more activities available. Gondola starts in late May or early June.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Murau G\u00e4steCard in spring (valid from May 1)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
